The “Paleo” diet consists of only foods that humans ate during the Paleolithic period, which includes meats, vegetables, nuts, and fruits, but did not include foods produced later via agriculture, such as grains, legumes, dairy.

There is a lot of controversy around the Paleo lifestyle but I just use it as a guideline to eating clean. I know what I can and can’t eat and I find that it’s easier than counting calories or portion control. I eat Paleo foods until I’m full.
